The Champagne Picnic on Sunday September 30^th is not that far away!  Please make a note of the date and plan to join us for this year’s version of this longstanding Badger Bimmer’s event.  As with the last three years, this will be hosted at the Fort Atkinson home of Vicki and Peter Wright.

Yeah, I know… there’s lots going on… approaching end of summer, etc. etc.  Perfect reason to kick back and relax for some quality time in the beautiful open spaces of Jefferson County, with like-minded friends, your Main Squeeze, and an abundance of folks who are just itching to meet you.  The icing on the cake is the beautiful objects d’art that are the automotive piece de resistance that binds our special group!

Brats on the grill and fixin’s consisting of whatever you care to bring as a “dish to pass” are the order of the day, and we will raise the requisite glass of champagne in honor of event founders Tom and Janet Rost, dear friends who we celebrate at every opportunity.  We will keep the grill going for those who wish to bring their own “road kill”… but in so doing, be prepared to rediscover the unique skills required to extract the very best from the mid-1970s briquette-fired Weber grill.

• When? Arrive any time after 11:00; eat at 1:00PM.  Visit, enjoy, laugh, swap stories, car shop, droll over your favorite 4-wheeled fantasy, until… oh I don’t know… how about when the skeeters start to nibble?
• Details? Badger Bimmers’ will provide a glass of champagne and bottled water.  If you would like to enjoy your favorite other beverages please bring them along.  We need to know how many friends for which to plan, so kindly contact Peter at peter@arrowcompaniesllc.com before Monday September 17^th with how many are in your group, and your specialty dish that you plan on bringing (not required, but it makes life so much more interesting!).  You may also want to bring along your favorite folding comfy chair.
• Directions? If from Madison take Hwy 12 to the outskirts of Fort.  If from Milwaukee, exit I-94 at Johnson Creek turn left on to Hwy 26.  In either case, take the Hwy 26 bypass (toward Janesville) and exit at exit 19… turn right on to Hwy 106.  It will be just over 2.5 miles to our driveway… immediately on the right side just after cresting the hill in the distance.  If you go by Poutsch Road on the left you’ve gone too far (look over your right shoulder!).  My cell if you get lost… 262 903 3053.  NAVIGATORS BEWARE… some fancy digital doodads dump you on Hwy 106 on the east side of Fort Atkinson instead!  No W7978 State Road 106 over dere!
